The Inspiration Behind Heathrow Kennedy

Since 1998, when I moved to Manhattan to begin what turned out to be a decade long assignment working for some of the world’s most iconic whisky brands, I’ve had a passion for American business. President Calvin Coolidge famously remarked that "the business of America is business” - never a truer word spoken.

Upon my return to London in 2008 I kept up that connection and since becoming self-employed in 2013 I’ve been privileged to have both US clients and a large network of friends and former colleagues who I visit with across the continent, often.

So it was not an altogether big leap to decide to incorporate a business and launch a new, more North American focused consulting proposition, this summer.

Incorporated in Wyoming and headquartered in Manhattan, Heathrow Kennedy is named in recognition of the two airports, 3,451 miles apart, which make running a Transatlantic business possible.

The driving philosophy behind the consultancy is to give organizations efficient and effective access to my experience, insights and network. By introducing a subscription option as opposed to a bulky retainer this is a sustainable option for most businesses.
